The Kids Rock Stars program is a running/walking program designed to get children moving in the fight against childhood obesity.  In the program children are challenged to run or walk 25 miles during the fall semester at school.  Children are assisted through the program by tracking their completed miles on a chart.  Additionally, they receive incentive awards for every five miles logged.  The culminating activity is the PF Chang’s Rock and Roll Marathon Kids Race held in Tempe, Arizona on January 14, 2007.
